I am a professional ICT Educator and Consultant with over 20 years experience in the industry. I am currently engaged by ICE (Malta) as Head of Technology, where my job is to lecture in coding and technical subjects as well as perform research and development of new study programmes, course material, accreditation and quality control.
I am a geek to the bone, with a deep interest in software development, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, open-source software and any new shiny IT gadget. My other passion is teaching – where I aim to develop a deep bond with my students to get them to not just learn a subject, but to truly fall in love with it. I have lectured both in-person and remotely at various schools and institutions in various subjects such as software development (Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C++, C# and more), cloud computing (AWS), project management and many others. I am an Amazon Authorised Instructor (AAI), LPIC-1 certified and OCJA, as well as holding a Masters Degree in ICT from the University of Malta.
