First and foremost, The Cue Tue provides and produces films for composers and sound designers to use for professional development. Many of our resources are free for members and we have thousands of member composers and sound designers around the world. We partner with educational institutions around the world to enable pupils and students, as well as their course leaders, to get access to our resources.
We provide regular expert analysis of our members’ re-scores on our YouTube channel. Featured experts include Mike Ladouceur from Royal College of Music, Grammy-winner Carlos Rafael Rivera, as well as our regular sessions with Brian Morrell and Stefan Gordon, course leaders at Leeds Conservatoire. Many of our live sessions include a giveaway for members.
In addition, we have launched Cue Tube Pictures and produced our first short film in 2023, funded in large part by our community, and starring none other than Tara Fitzgerald (Game of Thrones). You can see Activities of Daily Living on YouTube. We are currently (summer 2024) in production with our second film, FORTUNA, a documentary film we’re shooting in Brazil and other projects are under development.
