We stand out from traditional offices because we have flexible memberships to match your flexible business needs, ranging from a place to work eight days a month to a dedicated desk or full office space that you can call your own. We also offer 24/7 access on our full time memberships, so if you get your best work done on weekends or work with overseas partners outside of traditional hours then you can do it here! Lastly and most importantly we will not tie you down to a long contract, we work on a monthly basis, all we ask for is a months notice if you want to leave.

The Guild is a Shared Office space in Carlisle designed around the brilliant Coworking & Hot Desking concept, so you only pay for the desk space and not the full office! There are meeting rooms, private areas and a kitted out kitchen for you to use. We even sorted out the internet, regular cleaning and all the power bills, all you need to do is turn up and get the job done! As an extra bonus we have also created a flourishing Business Community by bringing our members closer together and giving them the space to develop and grow.
Our space is for businesses and professionals of all different sizes and backgrounds, so if you or your team currently work from home, local cafe or regular lonely office then we offer a place to work that doesn’t have all the normal distractions and lets you be surrounded by like minded awesome people!

Ground Floor at The Guild
As you enter The Guild you are welcomed by a cosy seating area and a bike rack for all you keen cyclists. Then to your right we have a small Hot Desking area, our private Office Spaces and the first of our meeting rooms The Donut Shop, a 6 person meeting room, for more details about our meeting rooms click here.
Going through to the back of the building we have our gorgeous Downstairs event space which comes with its own kitchen, 2 booths, 75″ TV and stunning large fireplace, find out about booking this area here. When our Downstairs space is not booked out for private events it is also another one of our Hot Desk areas for our Members and Day Pass customers, find out more about our memberships here.
Then going through to the staircase we have a big bright yellow booth for members to use and all of our fantastic members business names are up on the wall. We also have a notice board that keeps members up to date with all the fantastic events we have going on here at The Guild. Lastly we have our lovely toilet facilities.
First Floor at The Guild
As you get to the top of the stairs you are welcomed by our main Hot Desk area that is also where our Dedicated Desk members have their desks, find our more about our Hot Desk and Dedicated Desk memberships here. This lovely open plan area is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows that let in lots of wonderful daylight. We also have a mix of furnishings to create a relaxed, welcoming environment and in the centre we have our table which is normally reserved for members lunches. Talking about lunch there is also a fully kitted out kitchen with the standard tea, coffee and microwave but also an oven for anyone feeling a bit more peckish and of course our tuck shop with a selection of snacks and soft drinks.
We have our Leaf Me Alone room which is exclusive to our members as a little solo room that can be booked out for private calls. Then we have our last 2 bookable meeting rooms; firstly there is The Thomas Jardine room which is our most private meeting room that seats 6 and The Glass House room that seats 4, more details on our meeting rooms can be found here. In between our meeting rooms we have our printing area where members can use our printer stapler and hole punch etc, all included in our memberships.
